Unfortunate Accident/Fatality Could Have Been Prevented

WTNH.COM Branford, CT, 9/13/07 - A disabled resident of a group home was killed when he was run over by a garbage truck while sitting in his wheelchair. He was with a caregiver in the group home’s parking lot when the truck backed over him, Kohloff said. The garbage truck had mirrors, a working backup alarm and camera system.
