Mining Haul Truck Safety Alert System

Front sensors mounted as close as possible to lower front corners of machine. Range at 26 ft. Operation to provide operator of proximity alert to object or obstruction to front of machine during any operation.
Side sensor mounted at a 135 deg. angle toward ground with range of 15 ft. to provide operator with approximately 6 ft. proximity alert to object or obstruction to side of machine.
Rear sensor mounted at rear axle of machine with 10-15 deg. angle tilt downward. Range at 26 ft. with first 5 ft. calibrated out to prevent detection of rear wheels. Operation to provide operator of proximity alert to object or obstruction to rear of machine during reversing operation.

Front sensors mounted to top of respective hydraulic rams, directed forward with 10-15 deg. angle toward outboard side.
Side sensors mounted near side of cab, directed to side of machine, range 10 ft.
Sensors connected to operate full time and provide operator of proximity alert to object or obstruction on either left, right or front side of machine.

6 - Sensors (3 networked on left, 3 networked on right)
2 - Displays (1 for left sensors, 1 for right sensors)
2 - LED Rotating Warning Beacons (1 on left rear corner, 1 on right rear corner)
2 - 24VDC Relays (required to operate beacons from sensor detect)

Sensors Mounted at a 135 deg. angle toward ground with range of 4.5m. This will allow an effective detection perimeter around the rear and sides of the shovel at approximately 2-3m.
The system display will provide visual LED warning with LEDs 1-4 and a full audible and visual warning at the 5th LED.
Along with audible and visual display warning in the cab, the appropriate rear LED Beacon (left or right) will operate upon the 5th LED detect indication.
