Pulse Radar System

PreView™ utilizes a pulse radar technology to detect moving and stationary objects in zones obscured from the operator's view.  Why pulse radar?  Because some systems, like ultrasonic, infrared and video, rely on ideal environmental conditions to function properly, while others, like Doppler radar, only detect moving objects.  Pulse radar technology detects both stationary and moving objects in virtually all environmental conditions.  When safety is a priority in all conditions, think PreView™.

User-Friendly Display

The PreView™ in-cab display was designed to maximize its effectiveness in the cab environment.  The display features a group of lights and an audible alert to provide the operator with notification of an object's relative distance.  The closer the vehicle gets to an object, the more L.E.D. lights will illuminate and the audible warning output will increase in frequency.

• Durability - Tested to comply with the SAE 1455 environmental specification.
   
• Simplicity - Contains only three basic components: sensor unit(s), and in-cab display unit, and a cable connection from the sensor unit to the in-cab display unit.  Whatever your needs, Preco can deliver an off-the-shelf or customizable solution.
   
• Flexibility - Easily integrates with other safety systems.  The in-cab display unit can be mounted anywhere in the cab to best suit the operator's needs.
   
• Customizability - The Standard sensor system can detect objects from 10 to 20 feet from the sending unit, and the Xtreme sensor system can detect objects from 20 to 32 feet.  Both can be modified to detect custom ranges within those distances.
   
• Usability - In-Cab display offers three audible settings to meet in-cab noise lever requirements, and the L.E.D.s are easily visible night and day.
