Dual-sensor detection for Solid Waste Industry
The Standard PreView™ radar detection system features a small, rugged design that is ideal for waste industry vehicles that routinely operate within a tight environment, such as alleyways, crowded parking lots and narrow residential streets.
This system consists of two environmentally sealed sensors that attach to the rear of your vehicle, an L.E.D. display mounted in the cab of the vehicle, and the cable that connects them. The Standard PreView™ system can also intergrate with other safety systems such as cameras, reverse alarms and reversing lights to not only enhance operator awareness but to also warn workers and pedestrians around the vehicle.
The Standard PreView™ system is available in three different models:
- SPV 2020 - up to 20 ft / 6 m detection range
- SPV 2015 - up to 15 ft / 5 m detection range
- SPV 2010 - up to 10 ft / 3 m detection range

Why dual sensors?
The dual sensor system is designed with Waste Industry vehicles in mind. By installing two sensors on the back of the vehicle, the detection area is increased, particularly at the back corners of the vehicles where laborers generally work. The dual sensor system has proven to help Waste fleets reduce their backing-relate accidents by as much as 71%!
